To tell you the truth I think if the staff keeps Gene at Safety he could be one of our starting safeties next year opposite Russell.

I can see your point about slowing down to make cuts and not re-accelerating to top speed quickly, however...but if you watch closely, Gene is slowing down to deliever a blow when he has the ball...he's not looking to run out of bounds.
I believe Clifford will be a WR...his hands are too good and his leap and awareness, as you stated, are excellent and should be harnessed.
