Leave it to Dave Berk to not only post an article about Gene taking a token visit to UC and use it as a vehicle to get all the UC fans excited about something that is never going to happen, but to also compare the (ridiculous) idea of Gene going to UC to Anthony Davis going to Rutgers so as to remind all Buckeye fans that OSU missed on Davis and to take a proverbial shot at the OSU program, something he has been known for doing.

Just means he is working on getting it bumped up...the nice thing is that this staff rarely offers unless they aren't pretty sure a kid can get in. Deduct from that what you will...sorry I can't be more specific.

Can't believe that Gene isn't a 5* prospect...

and isn't more highly touted by all of the quote-unquote gurus out there.

Saw him play a few times and he's ridiculously good. Would be completely shocked if he went to UC.

Then again Jerimy Finch turned down Michigan to play with his buddies at Indiana. LOL.

Anything that these 17/18 year old kids do just doesn't shock me anymore. It gets crazier and crazier every year.

Eugene is a ***** on scout, don't really go on rivals much.

Didn't know that....

I really don't pay much attention to those kind of sites, but I do know the last time I really looked at their rankings and what not I just remembered thinking to myself that they had that kid really underanked.

Gene arguably the best safety prospect in the country. He's a very good athlete with great ball-skills. He could probably play WR, but I like him best at safety. You don't see very many safeties with his hands or ball skills. Could be a Sean Taylor like interception machine at safety.
