Ohio State has recruited the cornerback position as well as any program in recent years, and the Buckeyes are the favorite to land 2025's top defensive back. Wiltfong and insiders Bill Kurelic and Mike Roach have all logged Crystal Ball picks in favor of Sanchez to the Buckeyes ahead of his Jan. 6 commitment date.
"Sanchez is down to Alabama, Ohio State and Texas A&M with the Buckeyes trending for 247Sports' No. 1 ranked cornerback," Wiltfong reported earlier this month.

Not only is it a talent overload, but under that scenario the three CBs we got in '24 and the three CBs in '25 would consist of two outside CBs and a slot in each. In '24 you have Scott and West on the outside with Lockhart in the nickel slot (Day said that would be the case in his presser), and in '25 I would see Brew and Sanchez on the outside with Woodby in the slot.
Pretty ideal, let's hope that plays out but it is looking likely. And that's not even touching on what looks to be a promising safety class.
