Birm(I think it was him) mentioned that the threat is Northwestern. They're offering him essentially his own package where he can play offense and/or defense as well as special teams. And he would probably be a day 1 starter. He and the family are also interested in the NW degree as well

I cant blame the kid at all. The timing of the early signing period coming right after the end of the season (and subsequent coaching changes) is going to make for a lot of last minute changes and flips. I have no issue with him taking a step back, collecting his thoughts and making the decision that is best for him.
