I've always liked them
Crush Toledo the other night. Marcus Johnson drew the daggers that night.

George Mason got re upped for a home and away series starting next year.

If Dayton hit's 14 and one after beating Miami, I'd be shocked if they didn't make the NCAA's with 10 wins in the A10.
 
Lovin the Flyers thread!

The only thing that will keep the Flyers out of the NCAA is a couple bad losses down the stretch. Like last year with the losses to LaSalle, Duquesne, and GW. Win the home games and win the road games that you are supposed to.


A win at home against X would definitely help the resume, especially if Marquette falters in the Big East. 24 wins = dance either way. If they don't hit 24, they better beat X at least once.

I don't know but how about 2008-09 Basketball Tidbits. Maybe I am the only one but if everyone would start a thread for their favorite Ohio basketball team/coach or basketball team in this forum it could get pretty cluttered but that's just my opinion. I guess I'd just like to keep things need and clean

UMass is a better team than what they played non-conference... They'll finish top 4 in the league...

I'm worried about the game at Duquesne this weekend... They've got some really good players that could give us major trouble...

We've got to figure out a way to make some shots... And to play well on the road in conference... It's ridiculous that we play like this in the A-10 every year...

Who ever thought it would be a good idea to have a home and home with SMU and Toledo? SMU was a known rebuilding quantity and Toledo despite coming off an NIT was a teetering program. Maybe Kent St. in the MAC is a team we should be looking to play?

I'm writing off last night on the flu. We won and that's what matters. 20 points or one we still got the W.

What the mother of mary is wrong with Kurt Huelsman? I watched him against Pitt last year and I saw a good offensive center. Pitt had some actuall big men so it wasn't like I watched him against Coppin St. He hasn't a game double figures this year. I realize he does the small stuff agruement but if he's schooling Pitt with post moves he should be able to generate something against some of the low block people we play

I'm all for Devin Searcy getting more playing time... At least he doesn't get the ball swatted everytime he tries to go up for a shot...

Kurt can ball or at least he could. I'm not sure how someone could show the flashes he did last year and just disappear this year.

If we can't get defensive rebounds or turnovers and get easy buckets in transition we're done. This team god love them can't play a half court offensive basketball game. Marcus Johnson is the only guy on this team I think play in a half court game. Kurt can't score in the paint so the inside game is gone. We jack up a lot of 3s but I think some of that is result that we can't create in shots in a half court game
