I Heart Boobs
Saw the midnight of this last night. Now mind you I am a pretty harsh critic on movies. Keep that in mind while I say this:

Probably one of the top 5 or 10 best movies ever. Extremely well done, and Ledger's Joker made Nicholson's look like he was straight outta Sesame Street. I have been harsh on Ledger about his whole OD thing, but I do have to say that his role as the joker may be the best acting performance ever. I have trouble saying that, but the more I think of it, I cant think of any other that compares. I got home around 4:30, and couldnt get to sleep til close to 7 because I was so pumped by this movie, and couldnt stop thinking about it. Wow.

10 stars out of 5

Excellent! I am seeing it Sat. night on IMAX surround and I am very much looking forward to it. I have avoided trailers so as to prevent any pre-movie judgment or false anticipation for storyline.

Didn't plan on seeing this after being underwhelmed by Batman Begins but I think I'll give in to the hype and check it out.
First feature film shot in IMAX (others digitally upconverted)... plus the spooky role from the late Ledger should be an interesting angle.

I bought my tickets 3 weeks in advance and got to see the Midnight Showing last night. It was great. It just kept on rolling and rolling, barely giving you any time to think or breathe. Heath Ledger was just scary and freaky as The Joker. I'm seeing it two more times this weekend (Once in iMax), and it's the first movie in a while that I have found worthwhile to see more than once. I definitely have to say that this is the best movie of the summer.

Currently rated with a 94% on the tomatometer, and has a 9.7 rating at IMDb.

The Dark Knight Movie Reviews, Pictures - Rotten Tomatoes
The Dark Knight (2008)

Both scores are absurd, so either the movie really is that good, or all the [censored]y snobs that don't like comic book movies haven't trashed it yet.

Yea I think the last movie I saw on rotten tomatoes with a mid 90's level rating was No Country for Old Men. Can't wait to see this one, i'm about to break out the old batman footsies.

Wall-E actually got a 97%. But, since it's a Disney movie, it's not hard for them to get high reviews.
