Danny Clark (QB Kentucky Wildcats, transfer to Vanderbilt)

If it becomes a race to offer a kid who just finished 8th grade then I need to find a new hobby...

In a recruiting world that has eighth-graders receiving offers to play college football, Lindell Stone joined the small fraternity Tuesday evening when UCLA offered the 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback a scholarship.

Not bad for a Class of 2017 QB who just completed his eighth-grade year at Dawson Middle School in Southlake, Texas. Stone joins a small group of eighth-graders who have earned offers, notably Nathan Tilford (Upland, Calif./Upland), who was offered a scholarship by USC earlier this week, and Dylan Moses (Baton Rouge, La./University Lab), who has offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas and others.

Just wanted to add that this wasn't intended to be snarky towards you wad. It seems that this might become a trend for better or worse.

11W Article mentions him.
Yesterday Ohio State hosted a number of key visitors including a player who Buckeye fans will want to keep a very close eye on for the next four years, incoming Massillon freshman quarterback Danny Clark. By all accounts, Clark will be the starting quarterback for the Tigers in the fall and he was very impressive at Ohio State, standing out against players three-to-four years ahead of him. At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Clark has the physical tools of a high school senior and impressive mechanics that are impossible not to rave about for a player who has barely hit 14 years old.

"Clark was very impressive," said a source who was in attendance. "He's got all the tools and is a player who will be watched very closely over the next few years."

Despite the fact that he's not even in high school, Clark is a prime candidate for Ohio State down the line and Buckeye fans ought to get used to hearing his name.

That has to look favorably for OSU even though it's extremely early in Clark's recruiting process. Attending all of osu's home games, and seeing how Braxton is utilized even more this upcoming season should help as well.

Scout $ - Ohio 7v7: Danny Clark In Action

Massillon freshman quarterback Danny Clark has yet to play a varsity game for the Tigers, but he is already a household name in Tigertown. Thursday saw his first varsity action in a 7on7. FOXSportsNEXT was there and filmed Clark in action.

Potential is through the roof, as others have already stated. Very impressive, especially at such a young age.
