Damon Wilson (DL Georgia, transfer to ???)

Damon's in the transfer portal. Bumping this thread...

After re-reading this thread and jogging my memory, we were VERY close to gaining Damon's commitment coming out of high school. Would be a great fit for both parties
ill put info about him in this thread if contact is made and there’s a realistic chance

On the other hand … he’s going to want a clear lane to start given that he hasn’t started for Georgia. I don’t see that at OSU.
Actually, I see a clearer lane since Melton is leaving. I have a feeling that OSU is going to be moving more in line with Knowle's vision. Obviously, Curry and Jackson

Obviously, Curry and Jackson will most likely be the starters. They seem to be moving Washington towards the middle. McDonald is a force and will remain as starter. Moore most likely will be ready next season.

If they alternate like they are now, Wilson can definitely contribute right away.

I can also see a more steady DL rotation next season, similar to what we're seeing in the CFP. LJsr saw how worn down JT and Sawyer were at the end of games, when their backups are also very talented and offer a great mix, especially when facing the same OL for 4 quarters. Watch how Tennessee and Oregon's OL were exhausted by the end of the game because they had to deal with multiple different DL with different tactics to get to the ball
