I'm glad you all enjoyed the article, I will concede that I hadn't seen any information about JT visiting Children's, but I'll take your word for it.

My point was that there are few, if any, positive articles posted. The article on the faces Brady makes on the field was a stretch at best. When did OSU become so perfect? I don't need to bring up the countless issues with players, past and present. Granted, this is an OSU site, but for a team thats had some rule breaking in recent years, I find it humerous the OSU fans are so nitpicky to dig up any dirt they can on the Irish. The obsession cracks me up, so I'll drop a few more articles in for you all to enjoy soon :wink2:
I'm sure the article about Brady I knocked myself out of the legit Heisman race in the first 2 weeks of the season Quinn wasn't serious.

Well, here's a little story that is tucked away on an obscure page of the OSU James Cancer Hospital newsletter:

The Tressel Family Fund

A Winning Strategy In The Battle Against Cancer
The best defense is a good offense, and when it comes to cancer, that means prevention. That's the strategy behind the Tressel Family Fund for Cancer Prevention Research at OSU's Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

The fund was established by OSU football coach Jim Tressel and his wife, Ellen. In August 2001, Tressel's mother, Eloise, died of pancreatic cancer. His father, Lee, had died years earlier of the disease.

From their loss, the Tressels decided to take action. Pooling the many gifts that were made in memory of Eloise, they created the Tressel Family Fund.

If you would like to contribute to the Tressel Family Fund, please call (614) 293-3744 or (800) 293-5066, or visit www.jamesline.com online.

I guess maybe if you Googled a bit, you might find some stuff too. But, I think you'll find that despite the fact that Ohio State players are visiting sick kids in hospitals every week, you won't find many PR releases from Ohio State about the visits.

By the way, I can remember being in Riverside Methodist Hospital twice as a kid and both times I met players from the Ohio State football and basketball teams. That was back in the 1960s. So, this kind of behavior might be new at Notre Dame but it is a longstanding tradition at The Ohio State University.

The (supposed) obsession "cracks you up", yet you keep coming back and commenting every single time you see anything. Who's more obsessed...a bunch of individual people who might post an article or a reaction on occasion, or a single person on a visiting board who comments on everything?

Come on guys before you all start spouting off about CW, bringing up bible scriptures and such, you might want to sort of have a clue as to what you are talking about! AGAIN!

Fact - Several of the articles about Charlie doing things for sick kids were called into the newspapers by the parents who were impressed by Charlie's actions. That is a fact admitted by the parents in local interviews.

I comment on everything? I don't consider 128 posts in a year obsessed, I'm here pretty rarely :wink2: I think you're in this topic more than I am

You currently have 35 posts in this thread. Only 1 poster has more than that (Best Buckeye with 36).

Well, please educate us more and cite your sources. I don't doubt parents called in to the papers but considering you usually do not know what you are talking about you get no benefit of the doubt.
