perhaps we overrated weis just a little bit. perhaps it's not that if weis is given six weeks to plan, he'll come up with a master plan. perhaps he needs seven weeks. with that extra week he may even beat cancer.
He beat anorexia. Maybe cancer just wasn't on his todo list.

Yes, thats wonderful, I'm glad you're still living in last season there

Heres a great article that I know y'all will love about coach Weis, there was a similar story last year when Weis visited a dying kid before the Washington game I think. As much as you guys like to dog on Weis, I don't see any articles about Tressel showing this kind of compassion.

Of course not...I mean how else will Weis get all those NFL offers he runs to the paper about except doing charity work he runs to the paper about?

Good to see the resident Notre Whiners are still here :slappy:

I don't know which is more pathetic, the fact that Weis doing a good deed, granting wishes, and visiting terminally ill children is news worthy, or the fact that Notre Dame fans need to bookmark such links as testament to their coach's greatness in reasoning with fan bases who wouldn't give a flying fuck if Weis disappeared off the face of the Earth tomorrow.

You want a news link to JT visiting a burn victim at Grant, a cancer patient at The James, or a terminally ill child at Children's? Well, guess what? You won't get one, because that isn't news around here!

lol thats one of the funniest things i've read in awhile.. you guys all took the words out of my mouth.. no reason to publicize a good deed, it kind of cancels it out.

my favorite story about woody, and one you never hear, is when he died, he left scholarship money to every kid of a player he recruited so that they too could get to Ohio State. Is that in the news? no. that?s a coach, and a good man.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the article, I will concede that I hadn't seen any information about JT visiting Children's, but I'll take your word for it.

My point was that there are few, if any, positive articles posted. The article on the faces Brady makes on the field was a stretch at best. When did OSU become so perfect? I don't need to bring up the countless issues with players, past and present. Granted, this is an OSU site, but for a team thats had some rule breaking in recent years, I find it humerous the OSU fans are so nitpicky to dig up any dirt they can on the Irish. The obsession cracks me up, so I'll drop a few more articles in for you all to enjoy soon :wink2:

Right. We're leaving "in last season" when we're consensus #1 right now. You're a prime example of ND myopia and stupidity. Dipshit.

He was responding to someone who brought up 617. That sure seems like last season to me.

That's hardly a good reason for pointing the "dipshit" finger at him.

Now, the fact that he's a Notre Dame fan, on the other hand...

From the book of Matthew:

6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

6:4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

And from the book of Mili:

6:1 Be thee from Notre Dame: Shutteth thee fucketh up

not really an obsession, just makes me happy that jabba isn't representing my university. he's classless, cocky, and disgusting. he also says things like "NFL feelers" and "befuddled"
edit: not to mention overrated.
