Cryin’ Sherrone Moore, Sniffles, HC TCUN (Dead Man Walking)

So their first national championship in decades got their absolutely zero bump in the portal and recruiting. And Moore is going to be the splash hire baker that somehow attracts the top talent? lol ok….
That’s what I’m saying.

Zero bump because no one wants to go there without simple Jim and all the allegations swirling (along with having heavy losses).

Then like you mention, they hire a HC who doesn’t move the needle at all in any way possible.

Regardless who's in what picture he fuckin knew. What they only cheated on defense?
Of course. And Harbaugh, with the head set and goofy fucking cleats, is right behind the sheet holder. We know he used a savant at Stanford to steal signs, there's the sheet right in front of him, and we're expected to believe Hairball knew nothing about this scheme.

Right. Best case scenario is that he prevents an exodus, but there'll be no positive inbound bump.

And Yoko is clearly off twitter, or he would have tweeted about hiring The Cryer.

Sherrone Moore contract at Michigan: Years, salary, incentives disclosed

Sherrone Moore, named the next head football coach at Michigan on Friday, has signed a five-year contract that begins at $5.5 million per year.

According to terms of the deal, issued to MLive via an athletic department spokesman, Moore will receive a 2 percent raise every year through the lifetime of the contract and is entitled to an annual $500,000 retention bonus for staying at Michigan.

The contract runs through Jan. 31, 2029.

Of the returning (or new) Big Ten coaches, Moore is in the bottom half of the conference in pay according to the USA Today database of coaching salaries. Nebraska’s Matt Rhule and Maryland’s Mike Locksley, who each were set to collect $5.5 million in 2023, ranked ninth and 10th among league coaches.

But like his predecessor, the 37-year-old Moore is also eligible for lucrative bonuses for Michigan’s success on the field and in the classroom. A return to the Big Ten title game would net the new head coach a $250,000 bonus, and a conference title an additional $500,000.

If Michigan can return to the College Football Playoff, Moore would receive $200,000 for a first-round appearance or bye, an additional $300,000 for reaching the quarterfinals, an additional $500,000 for reaching the semifinals, $750,000 for making the championship and an additional $1 million for winning a national title.

In total, Moore is eligible for $3.5 million in possible on-field bonus payments. He is also eligible for a bonus of up to $150,000 per year if Michigan can achieve a team-wide NCAA academic progress rate (APR) score of 960 or higher.

If Michigan chooses to fire Moore without cause before the end of the contract, the school will owe him 75 percent of the remaining pay on his deal. As for the buyout on his end, Moore will owe Michigan $5 million if he leaves in 2024, $4 million in 2025, $3 million in 2026, $2 million in 2027 and $1 million in 2028.

I don't think that's legit. I'm not a lawyer, but I've been involved with biglaw lawyers since 2000. It just seems a little simplistic for the issue at hand. I've seen more complex legal documents relating to the use of a company car.

Then again, these are the people who almost marched into a courtroom on a Friday in November and handed the B1G subpoena power.

That looks like just a Memorandum of Understanding outlining what the actual contract will contain once drawn up.

It would be hilarious if they put the "can't be fired for cheating" clause in his contract too.
The hilarious thing about the clause is that it would have been a three person arbitration panel that would decide if the university could fire him. How do you think an arbitration panel would rule when both parties at the table wanted the same thing, to keep Harbaugh? They'd get the decision they wanted, and Yoko would tell the ncaa that we wanted to fire him, but that mean 'ol arbitration panel wouldn't let us. They are such a smug, self-fellating bunch of assholes.

Michigan lawyer in front of the arbitration panel saying, "we want to fire the coach for breaking ncaa rules."

The hire reveals that the AD, President and higher ups want moore cheating. They know that he was involved and decided to promote him. Not that we needed this, but just goes to show what they are all about.

You’re not paying close attention. They asked their former HC about those cheating allegations months ago. He told them he knew nothing about any such stuff. Plus they read on the Internet that those cheating allegations came from the Ohio coach’s brother and that Ohio was actually cheating and giving scout reports to Purdue.
