After reading all the posts in this thread I have to agree on the hype & loudness for the Texas game will be like a scum and a NC game. The attendance record will be broke that night and oh I would love to get ahold of a ticket, but alittle out of my range. So I'll stay at home and wait for the chants of T-e-d-d-y and OVERRATED!

How far is Marion from Manci (Mansfield) I got a good friend who lives there and we are talking about a get together that day.

For those of you that haven't been to a night game, they're so much more intense and loud than a normal game, there's really no comparison. I'd say the first and second loudest games I've been to were Northwestern @ Ohio State in 2001 and Washington @ Ohio State in 2003. The Michigan game in 2002 is a close 3rd,

I was at the Northwestern and Michigan games you mentioned as well...the Northwestern game really was incredibly loud for it being Northwestern, at least on par with the Michigan game...if the Michigan game were in warmer weather however, I think it would certainly win out, there are just so many little wuss fans that can't handle the cold so they just sit there balled up with their hands in their pockets and a scark over their mouth

I'll actually be in Marion that day too :) Though for my wedding... luckly the reception should be over early enough to make it to BW's by early first/second quarter :)
