A C-bus cop or Sheriff? I have never heard of either being nice enough to give you a ride home.

Coulmbus cop. He was pretty cool. Even his buddy that showed up was cool. when I got down town the other cop showed up with some punk kid who was giving him shit. The cop walked in said whats up to me then when I left he gave me five and told me good luck in court. Same for the cop who dropped me off. He gave me five also and wished me luck.
Anyways....Them MF's I went down to pick up my car and the towtruck diver left my light on which were off BTW when I left the scene. So the battery was dead. Then they charged me $20 for a jump from some other tow truck driver while I was down there.
-turn in your licenses and walk everywhere just to be safe.StadiumDorm said:Man, I feel like I'm going to have to post my card here for anyone that needs representation on an OVI.
Of course, if anyone here wants true legal advice for OVIs, it goes like this from worst to best advice:
- Don't take the breathalyzer (or do take it, depending on your situation). Actually, they're passing a law to make it illegal to refuse, so take it. Ahh, just listen to the next two.
- If you do have drinks and drive, follow all traffic laws to a T. Make sure your lights are working, use your signal to change lanes, and come to a complete stop at all stop signs, even the ones you usually roll.
- Best and Really the Only Safe Advice... Don't drive if you drink anything with alcohol. If an officer smells alcohol on your breath, you're screwed. Then they make up things like bloodshot eyes, slurred speech, failed sobriety tests (which are impossible anyway). Then the only way you can get out of it is to pass the BAC - which is a crapshoot if you've had 3 or more. Also, if I'm correct, it's dangerous as hell to drive after a drink. So ... don't drink and drive.
Ok lets find out what it costs for a DUI these days. In my first post of the thread I'm going to start a tally of the money spent and on what.
if you dont mind saying what did you blow (bac not while you were in the pokey)

From past experience I've found it to be better keeping these things to myself S&G :)
Oh come on... just tell 'em. It's okay that it wasn't as much as mine
Maybe but maybe not. I know it's a serious offense and shouldn't be taken lightly. But I know what I have gotten myself into and I prepared to pay the price.
Now on the other hand if we can't get a good laugh out of it at my expense then let the tormenting begin. I can take a joke and have no hard feelings about it. Heck maybe when people see how much it actually costs they will be less likely to drive under the influence like my dumb ass did.
