Yeah my mom was diagnosed with Cancer mid pandemic last year. Which was difficult. I'm 10 and half hours away and with the pandemic I couldn't be there for surgery. That was difficult we had to check with her doctors when a good time would be during chemo. She started ordering all her groceries grocery pickup etc.. but she still had to make doctors/hospital visits weekly to daily.Just to be clear: I'm not promoting isolation or "living like a hermit".
From my ignorant position, those with weakened immune systems have had to be mindful of their environments for some time and take the actions that they feel are necessary to try to mitigate risk.
The next concentric circle of people in their life should also be mindful of that.
I just don't know that what the pragmatic basis would be for everyone to take steps based on that denominator.
So, thanks for answering.
In short like Jax said I think most anti-vax are idiots. Especially the magnetic koooks but I understand that forcing people there isn't the way either unfortunately outside of specific circumstances and forcing medical is a slippery slope.
However I have no sympathy for the anti-maskers. Not one. It's no different to me then no shirt no shoes no service and how many people actually complain about that.
