Coronavirus (COVID-19) is too exciting for adults to discuss (CLOSED)

I have a sister in law who refuses to be vaccinated and sends out messages to others encouraging them to do the same.

The punch line? She lost her husband - who also refused to be vaccinated - two months ago.

He died of COVID - which even she does not dispute.

Yeah, not good...especially the "surprising fact" that states:

"The data shared by PHE also showed that of the confirmed delta cases that ended up hospitalized since July 19, 55.1% of the 1,467 were unvaccinated, while 34.9% had received both doses of the vaccine."

https://www.forbes.com/sites/jemima...n-early-uk-research-suggests/?sh=3bf8365d1ac5

So, 34.9% of 1467 hospitalized is.... about 500.... out of 40 million vaccinated in England? If its the whole UK, its even a smaller fraction with leading zeros.

"Even people who have recovered from COVID-19 are urged to get vaccinated, especially as the extra-contagious delta variant surges — and a new study shows survivors who ignored that advice were more than twice as likely to get reinfected."

"Friday’s report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention adds to growing laboratory evidence that people who had one bout of COVID-19 get a dramatic boost in virus-fighting immune cells — and a bonus of broader protection against new mutations — when they’re vaccinated."

Don't get confused by people trying to muddy the waters of Covid 19 with numbers!

"Lots of vaccinated folks are being hospitalized with COVID because there are a growing number of vaccinated folks. But the RATE of total hospitalizations is going down. That's good. Similarly, in Provincetown, 74% (346) of the cases were among vaccinated folks."

ATLANTA — As her father lay dying last August from the coronavirus at a Georgia hospital, Lindsay Schwarz put her hands on his arms and softly sang him lines from their favorite songs.

Eugene Schwarz had been admitted three weeks earlier, but the hospital had not allowed his daughter to visit him for fear of spreading the virus. The 72-year-old looked nothing like the ebullient, crisply dressed cardiologist who used to kiss her on the forehead before heading off to work.

“I was hugging my father, and it didn’t really feel like my father,” Schwarz said.

Less than an hour after she was allowed to see him, he died.
