You just proved my point on PPE usage being a factor of the amount people working in the hospital, not the number of patients

When you have an extreme amount and protective gear is a ego measuring stick, you get to wear the same PPE all day long. You get to break all kinds of protocols because the alternative is to soon run out of all ppe.

Ever watched how often doctors/nurses change gowns and face masks in the real world even prior to the virus breakout? Not often. Now, PPE (gowns, gloves and masks) is supposed to be treated as single use, but note how often gowns and masks were changed. I've seen medical people walk around in the same fucking gown nearly the whole day, while having their mask hanging around their necks...and cloth/cotton gowns are re-washable, unlike masks. As for latex gloves, yeah, everyone shit-cans them after one use. But unless you're either the operating room itself or prepping someone for surgery, fresh PPE isn't always used.

They're supposed to be changed when you leave the room. Does everyone do this? No. Would everyone do this if they could with a rapidly spreading virus? Probably. Are they instead forced to wear the same mask the entire flipping day, and only take it down to gulp down water or shovel food in as rapidly as possible, because they're walking around in a contagion filled zone with a disease they don't understand, can't cure and are forbidden from fully treating until the 7-8 day test results come back? Yes.

I remember the last Stent job I had. They made me lay on my back for 9 hours and couldn't move because they couldn't get the bleeding stopped. I mean I couldn't even turn my head. So If I had to pee the nurse had to help me by directing the flow by holding my member.
I don't know about what PPE she used But Lord a mighty I must of had to pee a couple hundred times..... (true story)
