My mom is 91 in Columbus at home..relatives helping out. Btw Sunday after Pritzker got done . Illinois citizens flooded iIowa stores .,in like 30 min like locusts.

So....Been hearing a 2 week+ shutdown is imminent and it will be enforced by the military. Schools, restaurants and bars are already closed here. Wondering if anyone on BP is also hearing of a martial law scenario from their trusted sources?

Gym in my hometown was frequented by a guy who just had his case confirmed. I know a girl who is at that gym daily.

Sent her the link to the story and said "stay healthy".

Her response, moments ago - VerFuckingBatim...

" I saw it and yes, I've been going since Feb 29th. I'm going to keep going until the Gov. Shuts it down"

She's a paralegal and I consider(ed) pretty smart.

Holy. Shit. Either a death wish or pure arrogance.

The text thing is bullshit but the National Guard is on the street, and has been for a few days now, in New Rochelle NY as we type.

As others have said, people aren't going to respond to being asked.

Government is going to have to calculate the price of flattening the curve or letting this thing run it's course and make a fucking decision.
