You are the person that stated it twice. Like it was fact.

Act like you didn't mean it now that you look foolish but here is exactly what you said the second time.
"I just look around and see that cases are spiking in this country while not in other countries"

Evidently you didn't look around very far?
No I know. CNN had me say that and I just believed it. Like a fucking dope. Like a dummy. I feel so foolish. Clearly cases aren't spiking in this country. And clearly there are no countries doing better than the US. I see that now. Thank you for your patience and bravery.

You clearly have a misinformed opinion that the US has done a poor job and the US is experiencing a spike while other countries are not. I just went back and read your posts. You have repeatedly posted your beliefs multiple times and I do not feel like quoting them all. You continually try to make this point that other countries are dealing with Covid way better than we are. However, anyone that reads the news understands how misinformed your observations are.

The rest of the world are dealing with the same problems we are no matter how many times you want to type that they are not. You can act like you were not being "literal" however you have posted that sentiment at least five times. You really need to reconsider where you gather information to form your views because you couldn't be more wrong. Deflect my "bravery" all you want, but you do look a fool with all of those moronic statements how the rest of the world has it figured out and aren't experiencing spikes. Okay, cool.

The death curve thing is incredibly interesting to me. Do we think the virus has weakened, we're better at treating it, or older people are staying safer than earlier? Or a combo of all 3? I feel like the natural reaction to seeing the case count go up is that the deaths will follow.....and the fact that that hasn't happened is amazing.
My personal opinion is it's because the vast majority of the new cases are younger people who are now going to beaches, restaurants, bars, parties, protests, etc. I don't think that the virus has weakened (yet), or that we're any better at treating it (really no way to "treat it" yet other than riding it out). And if people were "staying safer than earlier" then they wouldn't be getting the virus in the first place, thus there'd be no new rise in cases. Just my two coconuts.

Hey, what the fuck you two? Don't you know that the only ones allowed to butt heads in this thread are me and Fear-Monger-In-Chief @Taosman?

So you're saying the US is dealing with this better than any other country?

I had a good one lined up for you, too....but holy shit.
Please quote me where I said the US is dealing with this better than any other country. I said the US is experiencing the same issues other countries are, which is true.

On the other hand, you have said multiple times that the rest of the world "has figured it out" and the US is the only country that "you look around" and see spiking. You are seriously misinformed. It is baffling to me that you can be so blind to the biggest news event in our lifetime. How can anyone believe that the rest of the world "has it figured out" and the US is "the only one spiking"? You know why they call it a Pandemic right?

Serious question, where do you get your information? Where did you get this view that the rest of the world is not spiking and they have it figured out because you can act like you didn't mean it but if I go back and start quoting all of your posts before you edit them you have said it quite a few times.

Here are the CDC Guidlines for Re-Opening (that no one met) before Re-Opening .All very reasonable and spelled out clearly.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/openingamerica/

So, WTF happened? Well Mili and I are in (general)agreement on WTF happened. A younger group of people got the idea that they could do whatever the wanted. Beaches, bars, parties for summer. I saw it in my own neighborhood. Older people stayed the course but it was "party time" business as usual for the younger ones. Which precipitated Covid Round II. Say goodbye till next year to the college football season and a lot of sports for the Fall and Winter.

I think we just needed some more(time) patience with the process and get to the Fall in better CDC Guideline shape. But the process got hijacked for politics. Hence the" Shit Show" again.

Dude....look at what you said.

You continually try to make this point that other countries are dealing with Covid way better than we are.
To disagree with that point, you would have to believe that there aren't other countries that are dealing with this way better than we are. And yet we're leading the world in cases and deaths by a factor of 2. Per million, we're top 5 when you ignore the tiny countries that skew that stat. And...admittedly anecdotally...#1 in YouTube videos of dumbasses screaming to be allowed into Costco without masks on.

Just because Australia and Brazil exist, that doesn't negate Canada, Japan, and Germany. I'm sorry I hurt your Murica when you took me 100% literally, but our response sucks...and the numbers bear that out.

Ooph....that's poorly phrased. Please, nobody take medical advice from this website.
Hey NP people ignore their doctors advice ..but I will say my doctor is more consistent then Fauci. No smoking lose weight limit alcohol. Every visit, I don’t smoke, limit my alcohol so 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. BTW he thinks Fauci likes to hear himself talk . He believes less is more.

And the examples that you give are well established science, but don't pretend that they weren't controversial--and in the case of smoking viciously resisted for economic and FREEDUMB! reasons--when they were first beginning to be promoted. Coronavirus is barely six months old, and the science on it is evolving....rapidly. That Fauci and the science weren't sure about masks in the beginning does not represent an inconsistency. It represents their views evolving along with our increased knowledge of the science behind the virus. If you're in an ICU bed with COVID, are you going to refuse any remdesivir treatment in July because the science was unsure that it worked in March?

This is now getting embarrassing. Read comprehension much?

If you think "same" equals better then I don't know what to say. If you do not understand that other countries are having spikes equal or worse than we are, including Japan at this very moment, then I don't know what to say.

Unfortunately, people like you that are so totally misinformed get to vote. That is what "hurts my feeling". You should have to pass some kind of a civics test or IQ test before you get to vote, but for some they just believe what they watch on CNN. Nice work evading that question by the way. You have continued to show your ignorance of what is happening all over the world. BUT BUT BUT we have to continue the Donald is a fool narrative and it's all his fault. Geez dude. Read something different.

I will link a few more articles where you can start.

Yeah.....other countries are handling it poorly and a lot are seeing spikes, but I'm not sure those are the best examples. I mean.....Tokyo has population of over 9 million people and their record spike is 224 in one day. Houston's 7 day moving average is over 1600 and they have about 1/4th the population of Tokyo. And Houston hasn't been under 200 new cases in a 7DMA in months.
