Interesting.

I watched a documentary on mushrooms the other day.

From now on I think it is the only way I will watch documentaries.

Yup... been talking about this for over a week and it’s clearly gaining attention since Trump mentioned it last Thursday. This is the first example in the US from which I’ve seen anecdotal evidence... and while it’s promising, I’ll take with a mild helping of salt considering the publisher is very pro-Trump. Not that I’m disputing the claim, but I’m praying for an independent body to publish more results like this... If for no other reason than to depoliticize a positive event in this mess.

If this does what it’s suggested it can do, this will rapidly decrease the rate of contraction. A combination of this and (hopefully) a shortened social-distancing period will minimize the chances that we exhaust the health care system’s capacity.
How about this link then?

Why did he need that he’s under the age of 65 he should not have needed anything. He should have self quarantined and not taken up space and resources from those over 65 who really could have used it
Huh? Just pass out the drugs like they do for every other virus. No one should need hospitalization if we have the cure big Tex.

My mom is 70 years old with mesothelioma and a grandmother of 4, and she would agree with this guy. Just sayin’.
My dad is 74 and he would not agree with him. See how that works. Why don’t you go push your grandma in front of the death panel and let her take one for the team. I’ll make sure my Dad stays safe.

Yeah, well my mom is 70 and I'd push her in front of a train without thinking twice.

And that was true before the pandemic started.

Well, I know two people who will be at the end of the line for this in the event that it’s needed... regardless of age.
If it doesn’t work, why would I take it? Anecdotal evidence is not scientific evidence. It’s not that it won’t work. But we don’t know that yet. Those drugs can have serious side effects too...they’re not things you take like aspirin.
