I'm throwing some rep points at you just for having the balls to mention Little House on the Prairie. Bonanza would be better in this forum, though.

I agree about the "substandard" comment. I will restate as a player coming off a season in which his production steadily declined.

Maggette is not 6'5" or under and plays the 3. Also, Corey was coming off an incredible run in the NCAA tourney. IMO, I don't think it's an accurate comparison.

Magette's one inch taller than Cook, and showed some spark his freshman year, but never started. He was drafted on potential/athletic ability. Looks like a decent comparison to me.

Thats the first thing i thought to was Corey but he'll turn pro play well enough in the pre draft camps to be a first round pick. Beginning of the year he was a rated as a top 15 pick. Its all about potential and he has that potential to be a good player. I could see Cleveland picking him up late first round.

Great article that makes some great points.

This is the price of winning in the 'brave new world' of the 'one and out' rule.

There are a lot of mediocre teams/fanbases out there today not worrying if their 3 best players are going to declare for the draft because they don't have 3 draftworthy players on their team.

Count me in if this is the price of having great teams.
