Confirmed: UM's Turner did not graduate, now at TSUN

A list of their 09 defensive recruits in order of Scout National Ranking(In order of how awesome it would be):

JT Turner
Will Campbell
Craig Roh
Anthony LaLota
Denard Robinson
Brandin Hawthorne
Vlad Emilien
Isaiah Bell
Mike Jones
Thomas Gordon
Adrian Witty

Let the speculation begin. Were any of these kids questionable during their recruitment?
Which one is the "fattest" and "laziest"?

In all seriousness, I'd wager it's probably one of the lesser known guys like Bell, Gordon or Witty. Witty was the package deal with Robinson, correct? If it was somebody like Turner or Robinson, I cannot wait for that fallout.

Process of elimination: Campbell, LaLota, Vlad, Hawthorne and Jones are already enrolled. Turner had some borderline ACT scores correct? It seem to be implied to be academic. Could he be talking Fitz or Gallon? How were Robinson's grades/test scores?

Yea Right....

Let the shouts of:

"These Ohio teachers from Massillon Washington screwed him because they don't want him to go to Michigan"

start.....

NOW!!

And which group was reacting with glee because of the recent loss of one our 2010 tOSU commits?

Hypocrites. Got what they deserved. Schadenfreude is a [censored].

Campbell is already enrolled...
I don't think that means that you're automatically eligible for the year. I know that Logan Heastie enrolled early at West Virginia but was borderline ineligible with the clearinghouse. I'm not sure how it works, but I'm not sure that enrolling early means you're eligible with the NCAA.

If his grades and test scores are good enough to get into Michigan. The chances of him not being eligible under NCAA rules is damn near 0%.

OGT's

Can't blame the Ohio teachers here. Apparently he has not been able to pass all parts of the OGTs.

Why would the Ohio Department of Education institute those pesky standards for high school student-athletes(?) that want to go th UM?

Isnt that discrimination? How dare they demand that 18 year old students have minimal skills in the area of reading-writing-math-science-social studies/citizenship? What are they thinking? To demand that anyone considering Flushigan be able to do those things is a plot against the Yaller and Blue!

Duhhhhhh

You are correct. The schools can admit just about anyone they want. Going to school doesn't necessarily mean the player is eligible to take part in extra-curricular activities, just as it is in high school.

Should be but isn't unfortunately.
