CONFIRMED: PSU football players in trouble

I love Baker's attorney's defense.

A bunch of football players stormed into an apartment and beat the hell out of some guys. My client, a football player, was clearly identified as one of them, but it wasn't him.

And this is the attorney he retained after firing his old one. His first attorney must have been like the public defender in My Cousin Vinny.

In King's defense:

"Witnesses also put star cornerback Justin King inside the apartment, but charges against King were withdrawn before the hearing when Sloane said the evidence indicated he tried to pull his teammates out of the apartment and stayed after the melee to apologize to the tenants."

Not so much related to this thread, more in a when it rains it pours vein.

Penn State lost depth on the line when Elijah Robinson suffered a career ending neck injury in spring practice.

Nittany Lions lineman's career over after neck injury
May 11, 2007
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -- Penn State offensive lineman Elijah Robinson's football career is over after he sustained a neck injury in spring practice.
Robinson walked off the field and was not hospitalized after the injury, but team doctor Wayne Sebastianelli discovered after examinations that Robinson was born with a tight spinal canal, team officials said. Any impact to Robinson's head could pinch the spinal column and result in paralysis, the team said Thursday in a statement.
Robinson, of Camden, N.J., had been in the running for a starting spot on the line. He had two years of eligibility left.
"This is a big loss for the team," coach Joe Paterno said. "I'm disappointed for him in regards to his football career, but you can't take any chances with his future."

And Nit fans are still predicting a 10 win season!
I'm not sold on Morelli at QB.
There line will need some serious work. Cadogan moving from guard to left tackle(yikes!) Look for a few "look out" blocks when we play them.
Their "D" line is weaker.
And their secondary will take some time to settle.
And they lost their great punter!
