Conference Re-Draft Project

By the way, I think the next time someone does a conference re-draft project that it could be an auction draft.

All the conference commissioners get $100 to bid (silent or public) on universities as they come up for nomination. And there can be an auction.

Example: Ohio State comes up for nomination.

Commish #1 silently bids $30 on them
Commish 2 bids $25
Commish 3 bids $0

So Commish 1 gets Ohio State. Then Michigan comes up for nomination and Commish 1 could again go after Michigan so that they could pair up together, but they only have $70 to work with.

Sorry for the delay, it wasn't for drama, my internet at work was down.

My final choice is Villanova.

My conference choices were based on trying to first be balanced in the 3 major sports in the college ranks. Football, Mens and Womens basketball. Next I looked at education and alternate sports. If a school had a good average in the top 3 sports and was solid in education, I targeted them but it was hard to do that as many of my teams got picked while I waited.

I would have one more year with 11 in football with a Big Ten style schedule, then 2-6 team divisions next year to match the basketball breakdowns.

I had 2 colleges that I really wanted as the picks went along and they got picked. Wisconsin and Baylor. Got stuck with Oregon State kind of sitting out in the middle of nowhere. Geographically I tried to stay from the mountains east.

Mr. Stickball's draft could have 3 teams in BCS games if UGA were to beat LSU tomorrow. That's a good thing.
However - we're also leading all conferences in child molestation with the Penn State addition. That's a bad thing :(

When the whole Sandusky thing went down, that was about the 3rd thing I thought once the dust settled.
