My thoughts exactly. One of the better Ferrell movies in a while and Galifianikis is ridiculous.

Also saw Lawless and came away EXTREMELY impressed. Great movie.

Wife just made me go see The Words and it was actually a solid movie. Fairly chick-flicky but had a good story line unlike the other bs ones we've watched together.

The Bourne Legacy was entertaining but had some stuff that just seemed to be thrown in without any real meaning. Meh, it was only $8 with my military discount (and no, I don't qualify for the senior's discount...yet) so it was worth it.

They are releasing a "Christmas Story 2" and the trailer is awful.

Couple of quick thoughts:

1. Please I hope this is a joke
2. Ralphie has one helluva schnooze
3. The mom got alot better looking with age.

No one asked for it. There was Internet or Facebook campaign. Not even a gauche Kickstarter account to make it happen. But here we are, looking at the trailer for A Christmas Story 2 in all it's anger-inducing, fever-dream glory.
We all love the original film, full of veiled cursing, childhood foibles, and great period touches, like kids sitting around a radio and listening to their favorite program. And of course, the pent-up sexual tension radiating from Melinda Dillon.

ComingSoon.net has your first look at Joel Kinnaman ("The Killing") in the new RoboCop suit! Filming started today in Toronto and you can see the updated design below.

Directed by Jose Padilha, the August 9, 2013 release co-stars Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson, as well as Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael K. Williams, Jay Baruchel, Jennifer Ehle, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste. From Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Columbia Pictures, the film was written by Josh Zetumer and Nick Schenk, based on the 1987 motion picture written by Edward Neumeier & Michael Miner. The film is produced by Marc Abraham and Eric Newman, with Bill Carraro serving as executive producer.

In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

Why go to the trouble of setting the movie in 2028? I'd watch Robocop in present day Detroit. :lol:

Not even sure if this is out now or still coming soon, but, for the first time in a while I really want to see a first-run movie
