The Blue Jackets? third-jersey logo ? an Ohio flag swirled around a star ? will replace the "CBJ" logo on the club?s home and away jerseys for the 2007-08 season, team president and general manager Doug MacLean said yesterday.

There they are. The Blue Jackets punched in last night. They blocked 18 shots, delivered 17 hits and their goaltender, Fredrik Norrena, made all the saves, save one. The Jackets posted a workmanlike 3-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on the eve of the All-Star break and provided a glimmer of hope for a sellout crowd in Nationwide Arena.
