Rick Nash
Winger
Blue Jackets Everything went wrong for Columbus in the first quarter of the season before Ken Hitchcock took over as coach on Nov. 22.
Without question the Blue Jackets expected more from Nash, who had 13 goals and 17 assists over his first 39 games.
For the most part Nash has been healthy this season, although he sustained a lower body injury early in January, but it's not considered serious. getCSS("3053751") ASK THE NHL EXPERT: KEVIN DUPONT

Despite Nash's pedestrian first half, I still consider him to be the scariest player in the NHL from the blue line in. When Nash makes his mind up to get to the goal, there's little opponents can do to stop him.
He is in the same category as Alex Ovechkin of the Capitals. Nash doesn't shoot as well as Ovechkin from the top of the circle and other areas on the ice, but he is big, strong and really fast.
He is the kind of player who when he gets hot will go on a tear for a couple weeks and get 10 or 12 goals in that span. I think Nash will have at least one hot spell before the end of the season, and that will help make his second half much better than the first.
