there was a story - probably from the First Ohio Battery facebook page - that said the CBJ were being historically unlucky shooting the puck.
The problem isn't the defense or the non-Elvis goaltending. Now that the offense is evening it out a bit, you see whatyou get.

Korpisalo started all four @BlueJacketsNHL games last week with a perfect 4-0-0 record. His 16 wins this season rank tied for 4th in the NHL

The Blue Jackets are tied with the Islanders 2-2 after 2. Columbus has goals by N. Gerbe and K. Stenlund.....Which begs the question....

The winning goal was scored by V. Gavrikov, and I never heard of him either.
That's 5 in a row, they are "on a roll"; only 11 short of their team record (2016-2017) and 12 short of the NHL record (Pittsburgh, 1992-1993).

Yeah.....I had no problem with not paying Bob $10M per year. He earned it, but goalies over 30 are generally a terrible investment.
