Enjoy your series win. The refs won't be on their knees for you the entire playoffs, just know that.

You've been hanging out with @Mike80, I see.

I'm not expecting a repeat championship, but I also didn't expect Buckeye fans to act like Jim Harbaugh, so we'll see what happens.

Report: Blue Jackets’ Bobrovsky open to seeing sports psychologist to get over playoff struggles

Sergei Bobrovsky was probably the Columbus Blue Jackets’ best player during the 2016-17 regular season. His performance was good enough to not only lead the NHL in save percentage (.931), but also make him a finalist for both the Vezina Trophy as the league’s best goalie (something he has already won once in his career) and the Hart Trophy as league MVP.

More from the Dispatch:

“Sergei is devoted to excellence,” said Paul Theofanous, Bobrovsky’s agent. “Every year he looks at himself after the season and says, ‘What can I do better? What can I do smarter? How do I make myself more effective?’ He’s an incredibly driven player and person. Incredibly devoted.”

But nobody will say what that’s going to entail, mostly because they don’t want Bobrovsky’s struggles to become a constant topic of discussion.

Off-Season Watch: Jackets dealing first-round pick to Vegas?

A Deal in Place?

The Columbus Blue Jackets do not want to lose any of their young talent in next week's Vegas Golden Knights expansion draft and may be willing to pay a hefty price tag to assure that happens, according to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.

According to Portzline, the Jackets have a deal in place that would send their 24th overall pick in this year's draft as well as a prospect to the Golden Knights with the promise that they will take Matt Calvert, William Karlsson or defenceman Ryan Murray in the expansion draft and stay away from the likes of coveted forward Josh Anderson, backup goalie Joonas Korpisalo and blueliners Jack Johnson and David Savard. Portzline notes that Pierre-Luc Dubois, the third overall pick in last year's draft, or Sonny Milano, the 16th overall pick in 2014, will not be the prospect heading to Vegas.
