Found out the Devils roster thing happens when a player has played for that team in his career.

For example, I searched "Markus Naslund Penguins" last night and he came up on the Pens' site. :lol:

I think Sestito got recalled today.. will try to find a link.. heard the Jackets were scouting the Pens last night too. Has to be Goligoski. Not sure which forwards they'd want that we'd be willing to trade.

EDIT: Actually, it was from Scott Torgerson (lol) and he said they'd call someone up today, not Sestito.

EDIT 2: Calvert called up. I was kind of hoping for a trade and not call ups.

iv heard its either filatov straight up or him and commodore for goligoski.

i also heard from scott torgerson that winter classic may be coming to columbus next season?!?!?!? that would be awesome for this club, but i really am not sure how many fans they would pack into the shoe next january. especially if they play the wings, pens or hawks....

The Pens d has no room for Commodore or his contract. He won't be a Penguin. I will change my name to I love the Wolverines if he becomes a Penguin. The Pens have multiple options in Wilkes-Barre who would be more realistic than Commodore, and we have Lovejoy on the active roster who would step in and fill Goligoski's role if he were traded. They're expecting Despres to be ready next year, so trading Goligoski would be making room for Despres.

If Goligoski is traded, it would have to be for Voracek, Umberger or Vermette. Vermette is the only reasonable option value-wise for both clubs. Torg said Filatov wouldn't be involved in a potential Goligoski trade. And I also don't see the Pens trading a valuable player in Goligoski for someone who couldn't contribute now. They're a strong team this year and should compete for the Cup, at least get to the Eastern Conference Finals. It'd be a disappointment with anything less.

97.1 also said there are two deals being discussed, and that the one with the Pens was not the big one. They also said Howson was in Anaheim (he's back in Columbus now).

I looked over Anaheim's roster and don't really see anything the Jackets could get. Maybe one of the d-men, but even then.. Anaheim needs defense too.

If you're going to suck then please suck badly enough to get the top pick in the draft.

The Pens sucked badly enough for a couple of years and it got them Crosby and Malkin in back to back drafts, iirc.

Not that there's that kind of talent at the top of every draft, but sucking enough to get the 5th or 6th pick in the draft isn't getting it is it?

This team has NO heart. Nash should not be (and I don't think he wants to be) captain. They play with no fire. Mason is a head case whose psyche gets more damaged every time he takes the ice.

They are a bunch of gutless turds.

It is time for a shakeup.

Give the C to Moreau. Hell make a trade for a playmaker instead of trading garbage for picks and minor leaguers who never pan out. Something.

Zach Parise is available. Go get him. He's an upgrade over everyone on the roster except for Nash.
