Singling out Boll when guys like Klesla and honestly just about ALL of the forwards NOT named RJ Umberger doesn't make a ton of sense.....

Klesla is not putting any weight on his left skate/leg....

I think I see what happened...when he hit into the boards, his skate went directly into the boards as his hip and knee were moving forward....

OUCH....

how was there not a check from behind call on the hit on klesla?

Not a bad hit. Rusty turned and went down before the hit which made it look like a bad hit.

Blues starting to pick it up now. Cycling really well and drawing another penalty.

yes its a penalty...if its a clear check from behind they can give the player a ten minute misconduct. its to protect the players.

I think you're confusing boarding and cross-checking with what actually happened.

Just because a collision happened and the guy got hurt doesn't mean it's a penalty :roll2:

You're probably a fan of no-touch icing too...

44.1 Checking from Behind ? A check from behind is a check delivered on a player who is not aware of the impending hit, therefore unable to protect or defend himself, and contact is made on the back part of the body. When a player intentionally turns his body to create contact with his back, no penalty shall be assessed.
44.2 Minor Penalty - There is no provision for a minor penalty for checking from behind.
44.3 Major Penalty ? Any player or goalkeeper who cross-checks, pushes or charges from behind an opponent who is unable to protect or defend himself, shall be assessed a major penalty. This penalty applies anywhere on the playing surface (see 44.5).

Official Rules - Rule 44: Checking from Behind - NHL.com - Rules

If by "no touch icing" you mean plowing the opposing goalie with a face full of snow, then count me in.
