Probably the trip over the middle mid-way through the 3rd the led to what was eventually the hooking call on Voracek, or could it of been the Goaltender Interference in the 2nd?

Either way it seems the month of October has been a bad on to be an official in all sports.

I think it was the pre-Voracek trip, now that you mention it.

A point is better than nothing, but when you have the Champs on the ropes, you HAVE to get both. These are points we need if we are going to make that next step, or even make it back to the playoffs. We are heading into a hornet's nest next game too. Too many collapses late in games this season...WAAAYYY too many. They played well for 55 minutes...sadly that isn't close to enough.

I'll give them one missed call. But I've been to plenty of hockey games, and never have I heard such a whiny crowd. They were bitching about the Pens finishing checks, the Pens hitting the guy with control of the puck, etc.

Looked like the refs missed a penalty when Kunitz had a breakaway right before that shorthanded goal. Thought it was a potential penalty shot situation, at least an interference. Didn't get a good replay though. But it resulted in a goal, so it ended well.

Thought the Jackets were offside on their second or third goal. 99% of the puck was out of the zone for sure. Looked completely out to me. There were missed calls, but generally the bitching wasn't about them. Crowd didn't know the rules of the game. :wink:

Seriously dude, a chill pill might be in order. We've all suffered through some positively awful play the past 10 years or whatever it's been...the fact this team has a chance to win virtually every game going in is a lovely step in the right direction for me.

Half the crowd were Pens fans, so the half for the CBJ must have been REALLY whiny to be whiniest ever. :lol:
