heres hitchs post game comment.Just heard Hitch on the radio. He said "I don't care what score they put up there, we won the hockey game."
What happened?
EDIT Never mind. I read the write up on TSN. Hitch isn't going to say something like that without being damn sure of what happened. That's a shame to lose a point like that.
but, picked up a point. thats what 14-14-4 for 32 in 32. muddling right around .500. I think 94 should be a safe number.
I don't what's most agonizing about the loss. Leclaire's performance? Brass getting himself injured fighting? The nonsense call from Toronto? (shocking, right? )

no doubt will have to play some good hockey down the stretch. look at the schedule. what they have 2 of the next 9 games at home? they have to play the wings what 4 more times?I'll take the point, no doubt about it, but.....they got an injured Stars team with a struggling Turco, and out-shot them by a dozen or so, but only got the 1.
62 points in 50 games left....
31-19?
29-17-4?
28-16-6?
27-15-8?
26-14-10?
25-13-12?
12-0-38?
Reasonably, they're going to have to win at least 27 games of the 50, and that's assuming they can make it to OT/SO in 8 of the 23 losses.
I feel for Pascal, I do. It can't be easy to be the franchise goalie one year and then on the bench the next. And I know that the goalie psyche is far more....fragile.....than most other players', but an effort like that is very disappointing to me.

scarletandgrey;1359297; said:Unfortunately that wasn't the only bad call or "no call" last night. The 2 quick whistles on loose pucks in front of Trucco. Both would have been a chance to get another shot on goal.
Also the trip that should have been called on us before the Nash break away who coincidently was tripped up at the other end.
I feel the ref's unknowingly decided this game. I think the fans of Hockey deserve an apology from the refs for not doing thier jobs correctly.
At least Hochuli had the balls to come forward an admit he made a mistake that decided the outcome of a game.
BuckTwenty;1359359; said:And how about the no call when one of the Stars players charged Nash in the corner in the 2nd period (which led to Commodore's first fight as a Jacket)? There were a couple other no calls of similar nature. Those officials let that game get out of hand.
