Tickets

Is anyone interested in tickets for tomorrow night's game against the Rangers? I have four, and it looks like I might not be able to use them. They're good seats - Section 104, Row H. Face value is $83 each, but I may be willing to make a deal.

PM me if you're interested!

If you feel like giving a couple to a poor college student, send me a PM.

I plan on going to the game regardless. Was just going to pick up a few at the arena a couple hours before the game.

Blue Jackets: Zherdev, Fritsche come calling
New Rangers make first trip to Columbus since July 2 trade

By Aaron Portzline

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

In overhauling the Blue Jackets roster the past eight months, general manager Scott Howson has created fertile ground for compelling stories.
The first such marquee game will play out tonight when Nikolai Zherdev and Dan Fritsche return with the New York Rangers to face the Blue Jackets.
"It's going to be a special night," Fritsche said. "I'm sure there's going to be a lot of extra energy in the building."
And perhaps some money on the board in both dressing rooms.
Zherdev and Fritsche joined and left the Blue Jackets on the same days.

Jackets notebook: Productivity allows for more line stability

Friday, October 24, 2008 2:57 AM
By Tom Reed

The Columbus Dispatch

Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash gave the question some thought. It was by no means an easy one:
When was the last time he had played with the same linemates for six consecutive games?
"Switzerland," Nash said with a smile. "During the lockout (2004-05 season), I played with the same linemates at HC Davos for an entire season."
You can bet the line of Nash, R.J. Umberger and Kristian Huselius won't make it through an entire season. But in Nash's five previous seasons, linemate instability was the one constant.
