The Versus announcers must not have heeded the warning as they talked at some length about Leclaire and his credentials. However, the annoucers didn't say he was snubbed, just blamed the depth of talent for Leclaire not being there.
yup

The All Star game is a joke anyway. It's all about the playoffs. If they can get in, then everyone will see about Pazzy for themselves.
eh to some extent, for a team like columbus it means something, its a franchise thats never had any success. nash got jobbed last year, he got jobbed this year.

this runs a tad deeper than most of you want to believe, maybe tonight from home ill let you guys in on a few things...

For all of Nasher's tremendous qualities, he's a terrible actor. :slappy:

Sorry, jo. In addition to the all-star MVP award, looks like you'll never win an Oscar, either.

LeClaire has 8 shut outs with 31 games to go.

Here are the top single season numbers....none of them are recent....

Most Shutouts, One Season
22-George Hainsworth, 1928-29
15-Alex Connell, 1925-26
15-Alex Connell, 1927-28
15-Hal Winkler, 1927-28
15-Tony Esposito, 1969-70
14-George Hainsworth, 1926-27

I could see him getting up around 12 or 13 to end the season. If he really gets hot like he did early on this season, I could see him getting close to 15 maybe....

22 is a record that will never be broken. The game was completely different back then.

Blue Jackets: Victims of Nash's gem get plenty of air time

The Columbus Dispatch

In the past two weeks, Derek Morris and Keith Ballard have become YouTube darlings, their work replayed almost as often as that of superstars Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin.

The Phoenix Coyotes defensemen also were pretty ubiquitous on SportsCenter for a couple of days, muscling out the likes of Kobe and LeBron for top-play honors.
And, of course, there was Sunday's NHL All-Star Game, in which their famous clip made two appearances.

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

As a player, Wayne Gretzky won almost every meaningful award the NHL dispenses.
The Great One finds himself in the hunt for another piece of hockey hardware, but to capture it he probably will have to go through Blue Jackets coach Ken Hitchcock.
Tonight's game in Nationwide Arena between the Blue Jackets and Phoenix Coyotes features two men who figure to be in the running for the Jack Adams Award for best coach. If the Jackets or Coyotes make the playoffs, their coach is likely to be a finalist.

It's ok.....Bryzgalov has been hot recently.....Phoenix is a good team and you'd like to win this game, but honestly until the next Detroit game this is probably the hottest team the CBJ are going to face.....

Despite the two goals, Bryzgalov was on again tonight. I thought the Jackets skated hard, but we need Pascy to be stellar and he wasn't. It's okay, he's won us more than he's lost us. I thought it was pretty funny when they showed him on the bench after they pulled him with a minute left, yelling "F%$^, F%$^, F%$^, F%$^!"
