Strange schedule for Watterson. So far in their first 7 games, they have had only 1 home game. Their last 3 games are at home however.

Yeah. But again, they seem like they're happy to travel, because they don't play any of their games on campus. They say there isn't enough parking to play their games at "home". Maybe the stadium isn't big enough, either. I forget where they play their home games, but they aren't at "home".Strange schedule for Watterson. they are tucked into a neighborhood not too far from OSU's campus so I can see parking being an issueYeah. But regardless of where the games are played, you're right that it's weird that they'd play 6 of 7 games on the road, and then the last 3 at home. I wonder how the schedules are made.
Text message from my brother: BW won 53-0 tonight. I didn't hear who they were playing.

They play their “home” games at Ohio Dominican University. Nice facility but too small for big games like the upcoming DeSales game & parking/traffic are a nightmare.Yeah. Columbus De Sales. Another up here in Toledo. Not on the same plateau, unless it involves water.45-7 beat down of rival St Francis Desales. RJ Day (Ryan’s son) at QB for Desales.

Originally Bishop Watterson was an all girls school; I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Back when I played there and growing up following Watterson the games were at North high school on Hagley Field off Arcadia and the new field now is where our practice fields/JV field and track were. The baseball outfield was the freshman practice field which made ground balls in the summer out there .. interesting. They play their “home” games at Ohio Dominican University. They have a nice field right next to the high school school that they use for soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, JV & freshman football but there isn’t enough parking or seating to host a varsity football game. Rumors are they’ve had plans in the past to buy additional property around the field, including a row of businesses right on High Street, to address these issues but the City of Columbus shoots down everything they propose. I don’t think the people in the neighborhood want the associated traffic but it would be like 5-8 Fridays a year. Not sure why the diocese made sure DeSales & St. Charles had plenty of land for their facilities but Watterson, Hartley & to lesser extent Ready were given postage stamp sized parcels to work with.
....must be nice to think Watterson and the rest of them DON'T recruit.....Just because there’s a reply/post button doesn’t mean you should use it. If you don’t know what you’re talking about you shouldn’t talk.
