the best part is that Tejas should maintain their ranking as the #1 scoring offense. Not sure anyone else will, but perhaps herbie will use it to dispute the "greatest offense" BS about USC.

the only consideration is the hometown thing... but I hear where you are coming from. Might not be a bad idea to get more reps for your backup, in case the unthinkable happens vs USC.

In Gameday Herbie was quite emphatic that USC has the best offense of any college team in recent memory. I think it would take a huge display to by Tejas to change his mind. (Maybe bigger than SATX's 63-10 projection).

This game just shows how pathetic the competition in the Big 12 is. UT has scored 40+ in 11 of their 12 games. The only one which they scored less was against us. I don't think that Texas is that great of a team. I believe that they just look "dominant" because the teams they have faced have not been that good.

Maybe Tejas IS that good, and that means OSU holding them to 25 was remarkable. HL? Any ideas on this theory :biggrin:
