When the "power" teams are given a very large spread to cover, they usually do.
TX wins 42-6.

Just thinking, for those of you around in '72 and remember the all-time classic game against OU and NE when they were 1 & 2.
What if theywould have had to play again in some stupid CCG?
That would have screwed up the whole meaning and greatness of the first game.

The Championship Game has been a disaster for the Big 12. (though the President's and Athletic Directors love the money it generates) Our best teams have been knocked off several times in this game, and it's hurt our standings in the polls. Interestingly, all 12 of the coaches voted against having it. That tells you everything you need to know.

I could overlook the aTm game as coming out flat, but this is the game following that, so I don't think that excuse works anymore. For the second straight game, RB stretches and QB draws slice thru the Texas defense like a hot knife thru butter. Man I wish we had another shot at these guys. The only similarity I see is the tough D inside the 10.

Meanwhile their offense remains potent and VY runs in to get their 3rd TD of the game thus far - standing up.

Stat at beginning of the game Texas scored 40+ points against everyone ....

Except the Buckeyes
