Colorado Buffaloes (official thread)

I think it also has to do with whether Colorado is a "contender" at the end of the year. My guess is that they won't be, but I'm not very good at these things.
Which reminds me - I need to make some bets on Draft Kings.
Colorado has quite the tough schedule when you look at it, especially after seeing the game last night and watching them struggle against NDSU. I know NDSU is a very good team at the FCS level, but NDSU isn't winning a P5 level team up and down the roster. CU still has issues on defense and OL, and the mercenary method of solely using the Portal to fill his roster. I agree that I don't see them being a contender, and may even struggle to get to 6 wins. Next week's game against Nebraska could be very interesting, because Nebraska is practically an unknown outside of the QB

-Travis Hunter is a great athlete.
- Shedeur looks like Chocolate Brady. The kid is a damn good QB. Every from his release, his footwork, his eye movement. All of it.
- Buffs line play on both sides of the ball is not good enough to consistently win at a high D1 level. But they should hit bowl eligibility.
The line play and defense in general will be their achilles heel. If they let NDSU drop 449yds on them, I can only imagine what schools like Utah, Kansas, K State, Arizona, Ok St and even Nebraska will do to that defense

The ESPN knob gobbling still has shown no signs of stopping though.

Announcers last night "NO OTHER QBS CAN DO THAT!"

Yea no other QB in the country could do such things with those WRs against a FCS defense (I know NDSU is better than the average FCS but it's still a FCS defense)
