Disagree. Deion was an accomplished athlete. Lavar's biggest achievement was having a couple of orgasms.
Yeah Whitlock has a hard on for Deion. He’s made him a focal point of his shows, for whatever reason.
CU isn’t very good, we all knew that. Unfortunately the national media narrative made most hate them even more, and their antics leaning in didn’t help one iota. Prime will sell some tickets, and get some national eyes on CU. He may even win the Big 12 a few times, but the narrative may be nauseating. But I hope the rumors of him going to the SEC stop, national pundits are mainly to blame for so much unwarranted attention.

I didn’t mind them at first but after Shadeur did his watch celebration after beating a terrible Arizona State in OT I felt the need to root against them.

I can understand that. Young men with egos, tale as long as time. But it’s hard to be humble with a Rolex, and on literally every sports and news network in the country. Just think, the casual CFB fan knows Shadeur SandeRS before starting QBs at OSU, LSU, UF, Tenn, and pretty much every PAC 12 QB not named Caleb Williams.
But they should’ve been treated like every up and coming school, they get no attention until earning it. Some would say they did that against TCU, but most would agree that Coach Prime‘s mouth wrote checks his team didn’t have the collective talent to cash.

I said that in both my previous posts that he did. But he can talk all he wants, the cameras have to be in his face for it to really matter. Mike Gundy and Lane Kiffin run their mouths too, and they're press conferences don't get much coverage...

The cameras don't need to be in his face.
He employs his non-football son to document everything with a camera for social media.

I can't think of any other coach, in NCAA or NFL, that expends that much resources on creating and managing themselves as a brand.
I get it, that's his thing. Since he was a player, he was about creating a brand. And there's nothing inherently wrong with it.

But it also means you can never blame the media.
He is the media. He has a stranglehold on how that program is perceived.
