That was like 2009-2011 bad fan video level of awkwardnessI think they make medication for that.
Even funnier will be fans of other fan bases who want a coach or coordinator fired mid-season citing what Deion does as if it’s some sort of industry best practice to emulate.Going to be hilarious watching Deion make knee-jerk reaction bad coaching staff decisions in middle of seasons every year when things start not going exactly how he thinks they should at points. He's got plenty of enablers though cheering it on.
Here's my guess:
Colorado starts off with a game against TCU. They win. Yay! In hindsight, what are the chances that M*ch*gan gave Prime Time TCU's signals? "You want to beat us in the playoffs, well now you get an unfair disadvantage against Colorado." Isn't Deion on record for supporting M*ch*gan and their sign-stealing?
Then they played and beat Nebraska. Yeah, so what? It's Nebraska.
Then they played and beat Colorado State. Meh. Not impressed.
Then they got smoked by Oregon - their first real opponent.
Then they lost to USC, and we thought that maybe Colorado is decent. But now we know USC isn't so hot, so maybe this isn't that great for Colorado.
Then they beat Arizona State. Is Arizona State any good?
Then losses to Stanford and UCLA and Oregon State. Are the wheels falling off? I'm not sure they were ever really on there.
The media would cream themselves if there was something substantial to this storylineMichigan also played Corn and CSU in 2022.
Could be an interesting connection.
Some Buffalo fans were commenting that the offense has regressed as the season went on, so that’s why Deion made this move.
Someone needs to point out to them that they opened the season against (a bad) TCU, Corn, and Colorado State and in games 4-8 played teams like Oregon and UCLA, you know, teams with a pulse.
Maybe that had more to do with it that the OC?
But promoting Pat Shurmur?
Also some CU fans are saying that Deion demoted Lewis because he wouldn’t call enough running plays. All good points. Also their OL is awful and their QB gets beat to shit all game.
The offense has looked about as good as you'd hope. Can't play with a shit OL and rely on a two-way player to beat top 25 teams. Not sure what the expectation was, but I'd say they'd doing fine for completely rebuilding a team. The delusional expectations are starting to have some very negative effects.
Also, their recruiting is awful. Ranked #62 in the country. The transfer portal can be great but if you have no consistency in the roster that's a problem.
