Game Thread Colorado at tOSU, Sept 24th, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN2 mirror

Great to see that Bolman read our suggestion of using Hall in the "wildcat" to good effect! :tongue2:
Hall looked terrific running the "wildcat"! Hall looked terrific in general (260+ total yards).
Braxton(83 passing..2 TDs/83 rushing)...........it's on, people!
This season is far from a wasted season and we will have a say in who wins the BIG!
Lots of teaching to do on both sides of the ball, but you gotta love the young talent we have!
Our LBers as a group are still slow to react but Vrable will coach 'em up!
Great hire!
Devin Smith is an exceptional talent.
And what more can be said about Jordan Hall? He's provided a needed spark and explosion to our young offense. Hall has surpassed his expectations.
Carlos Hyde is a talented kid who will just keep getting better and you gotta love how hard he runs.
This is the best offensive line(with Linsley playing) that we've had in years!
Perhaps, there will be less confusion about an "offensive identity" now with Braxton and Hall/Hyde running the ball.
Christian Bryant was a difference maker at safety this week.

Taos, concerning the Big Ten title, I think that you meant to say that this team can still win it, right? Nebraska has looked anything but invincible and Wisky is coming to the Shoe. Everyone is back. It's a tall order, I admit, but it is still a possibility.

It was a good, convincing win that the boys really needed after falling flat down here last week.

Was it just me, or was Craig James somewhat fellating the Buckeyes yesterday? On a few occasions the announcers w\were talking about the talent on the field, and James kept saying "This is Ohio State, they always have talent in the 2 deep." and such. Also, he made some remarks at how good the defense has been, and that this defense is getting back to that level. It was actually making me feel wierd listening to James praise Ohio State like that.

I know, I was really puzzled by James' apparent new-found love for the Buckeyes. It was his first time at the 'Shoe, so maybe it gave him some kind of new respect? I don't know, but it was certainly nice to not hear non-stop bashing from the comment crew.

Ugh...I feel dirty and sullied suggesting something nice about James.

I know this isn't addressed to me but I would agree with you. I say we take care of Sparty due to the fact that it's being played in the Shoe. The Nebraska game is a toss up, by no means have they looked like the juggernaut they were made to be in the preseason.

If it plays out how most Buckeye fans would envision it we should be 6-1 by the time Wisconsin rolls around and lord knows the Shoe will be more than ready to explode on that night. Coupled with the fact that the players will be eager for revenge I wouldn't out the possibility of a magical night in the Shoe.

We'll see how it plays out! Go Bucks! :oh:

The way our defense and special teams have shown they could play, we very well could win the Big10. Is it harder than it would have been if we were at full strength (this includes having Tressel and Pryor and no distractions)? Yes.

But Nebraska and MSU have shown weaknesses, and we have a little revenge ideology against Wisconsin, so there's always a chance.

Call me crazy, and I might very well be, but I think Wisconsin might be walking into a buzz saw when they play us. The Shoe is going to be insane and I'm sure a lot of our players are going to be utterly pissed off with what happened last year. I think the Bucks absolutely lose their minds and play the perfect game, beating Wisconsin by 2TDs.

that would be nice. i have some doubts that our linebackers are up to the task, though. wilson, ball, and white are a nightmare for green backers. i don't think we can stop their offense, and our offense needs to develop by leaps and bounds in order to outscore them. if we win, we win by being at least +2 in turnovers.

i'll be there and i'll be loud.

I agree with everything but the score. I just can't see us beating them by 2 TDs unless our offense fully gets in sync before then.
