Colonoscopy 2.0 and skirts

This is kind of colon related. My doctor recommended that my fiber intake should be 25 to 30 grams of fiber today and pretty much the easiest way to get that is from beans. I got sick of beans quick so I switched to metamucil which is a supplement. The last few weeks I've been feeling like shit, borderline "go to the ER" shit. I looked up up the side effects of Metamucil and besides gas, bloating, nausea and stomach pain there's also drops in blood pressure, drops in blood sugar and dehydration. Fuck this shit, anyone know of a better fiber supplement?
Wheat Chex and fresh berries for breakfast at least 5 times a week. Wheat Chex are processed, but the ratings I've seen rank them on the high side of the healthiness scale.

This is all kinda personal, but here's what has worked for me. Folger's instant coffee. Have a large cup, and put in three heaping teaspoons of this stuff. Add hot water, and milk/cocoa powder for some sweetness. You're NOT drinking this for taste. Works within 30 minutes (for me usually). Results will vary with the user. Dubs, usually get the first 'movement' within 30 minutes, and then an hour or so later, get a secondary 'movement'. Usually have to duck into the shitter on the course, as the blockage is gone, and second is more loose. Hate to be graphic, but trying to say it will/might affect you differently. Best not plan any long car trips until you regulate. Good luck, guy!

I've been eating two large avocados a day and taking a fiber supplement once a day (physillium husk) and it seems to work out well. I also try to eat one half pint of raspberries, blackberries or strawberries once a day
Smooth (forgive the pun) sailing so far.

You would be surprised what someone can produce after being on corticoid-steroids. It gets impacted and extremely hard. At least women have hips that are wider. Randy Marsh would be impressed. Stay hydrated assholes. (pun intended)
Funny, they prescribed a stool softener for me to take with my Norcos, particularly since trying to forcibly push out a shitbrick is probably the worst thing that I could do right now.

Just another data point (and I'm grabbing some wheat chex next time I go to the store because, well, what I'm about to add here does get old and tired occasionally)

But I eat this as my daytime meal on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and if I'm home Thursday (and I cannot stress this enough to everyone along with @TDunk , Drink. More. Water)

Half cup Oatmeal (Wiford Brimley was 49 in cocoon, just a reminder)- obviously with one cup of water as per the directions.

Big huge heaping tablespoon of ground flax seed

dash of salt (maybe a fat pinch)

big huge heaping tablespoon of peanut butter (protein, good fat, so you can replace this too)

then a little sweetener (very little, sort of the same vibe as the dash of salt) I have variously used maple syrup, honey and I'm kind of on a couple shakes of cinnamon sugar from penzeys right now, but you get the gist of it... but really the amount is probably 1/8 teaspoon if you made me guess

(optional and unnecessary, I hit it 1/4 teaspoon of Ashwaganda on it too, but its totally not necessary, I just like it in here more than in my coffee but its not important to this at all)

Throw it in the nuker for as long as you like (I go 90 seconds but that's probably on the shorter side, and let it sit for a while)

then whatever fruit I have on top, usually banana slices but strawberries this week...

Now, I'm a sit on my butt worker, but you could just double it up if you need the calories, but I'm going to tell you guys that I started this 3-4 days a week in December and while I was losing weight in the right direction at that time because of other things, my clothes are ill fitting at this point. And it checks all the boxes for this thread. But I think I'm going to see about the wheat chex for Thursdays because this is a hassle to be onsite with...

Be well my Brothers, I also miss Kinch everytime I look in this thread.

Like a Lego in the Dark....

I've never really had a problem with constipation, but here's two things I avoid because they act on me like a laxative.

Xylitol. Found this at my pharmacy on the shelf with other sugar substitutes. It is in many foods, like chewing gum. Africans like their coffee with 5-6 teaspoons of sugar and milk. A friend did that with xylitol. Two cups of coffee in the afternoon and she had to stop on the way home to use the toilet.

Chia seeds. These are the rage for smoothies here and in Europe. I noticed a pronounced laxative effect and stopped using them.

Daily breakfast

Get nutribullet and their biggest cup.

Fill with spinach. Add some soy milk. T of ground flax seed and T of chia seeds. Blend.

Then add one banana and a good handful of frozen strawberries. Blend.

Feel free to toss in a scoop of protein powder if you think you need it. Vanilla flavor recommended. Blend

BAM!!!
