College Football Playoff (2016-2017 Season)

Just depends on how much they value a conference championship. If there was ever a year for a non-champ to get in, this is it.

The committee said that the difference between OSU and Ped St wasn't close - today's matchups certainly didn't make it closer, and them beating Wisky won't either.

Either way it's out of our hands now, and that sucks. Two years in a row of losing the exact wrong game.

After last years Michigan State shitting the bed in game 1 the committee has enough ammo to say, "nope, the BEST team isn't necessarily the conference champ." Which is actually true.

Apparently NDs Jerry Tillery had 2 horrible cheap shots, including kicking a USC player in the head while he was down with an apparent head injury. Stay classy Brian Kelly :shake:

Yes, he did. I was watching that game for the Domer tears.

The first USC player (ball carrier) took a hard helmet-to-helmet hit to the side of his head. He was practically in the fetal position on the turf, and that POS Tillery walks by, slips his toe under the player's head, and shoves it. Bastard could have paralyzed the guy. Just a classless piece of garbage.

If Wisconsin and OU win, we would have beaten two P5 conference champs. I don't see us being left out. Rather, it will be a discussion between Pac 12 and B1G champ for the 4th seed in my opinion:

1. Bama
2. Us/Clemson
3. Clemson/Us
4. Pac 12/B1G champ

If things play out with out an upset, I see a 1 loss Washington getting in over a 2 loss Wisconsin/Penn State.

1. Bama
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Washington

If Washington loses the Pac 12 Championship game, then things get messy. Which 2 loss conference champ gets in Oklahoma (assuming they beat OK State) or Wisconsin/Penn State?

Personally, I don't think he should see a college field ever again if he's not a senior. If he's a senior, then...I don't know, but that [Mark May] is just beyond the pale.
I don't even know what I'd do if I saw an OSU uniform kick an injured player in the head. No place in competition of any kind ever again.
