College Football Playoff (2016-2017 Season)

Barring upsets in the CCG's it's between Pac12 and B1G CCG winners for that 4th spot.

I don't think that's fair, for the record, but I think that's what they are going to do. The part I don't think is fair is Clemson. They will have won a weak conference and have a terrible loss.

Just one guys imo
True on Clemson but I think the rest would be more then fair. What would not be fair is leaving a 1 loss OSU and putting a 2 loss PSU team in.

IMO Washington fucked themselves with their weak schedule so I look forward to having two big ten teams in the final 4 because it's happening

I have no complaints about how the committee has picked the teams in the past two years. But I admit I'd likely be complaining if the team in Ohio State's position right now was any other team. I wouldn't mind if they went to 8 teams and dropped the conference championship games. Just play round 1 at the top 4 teams home stadiums.

My thought on playoff is that I would obviously be pumped if they got in yet wouldn't be shocked if left out. Arguments on both sides. Can debate it until blue in the face. Won't know shit until we see that Buckeye logo in or out of the bracket on decision night. So, I'm not going to worry about it.

One thing I'm starting to wonder is just how good Alabama is. That defense is legit, no doubt, but the SEC is awful this year. Who have they really beaten? A USC team that switched QBs? A 7-4 LSU team? Whatever dumpster fire the SEC East shits out?

Nah, Clemson will still get in, likely at 3, and then spot #4 is up for grabs between the likes of B1G champ/Oklahoma (if they win Bedlam)/Colorado (if they win tonight and against Washington next week).
you think Clemson would get in over TTUN with losses to Pitt and Va Tech? While TTUN lost a tough one at Ohio State and at Iowa.

TTUN has wins over Wisconsin, PSU, and Colorado. Clemson has FSU and Louisville (looking weaker every week)

I'm still not 100% confident on osu getting in unless Colorado loses tonight and then usc beats Washington. That happens, and they're guaranteed in. Otherwise, it may happen, but it's not a lock. Tcu dropped from 3 to 6. It's not unprecedented.
