College Football Playoff (2015-16 Season)

The cold reality is becoming clearer. While we screamed Beck, Beck, Beck, we discounted the fact that Sparty rushed for 203 yards on a day where the weather was bad and they HAD to run because Cook was out. Iowa is holding Sparty's rushing in check, indoors, with Cook.

Unfortunately, our team never really looked like we expected until the scUM game. By then it was too late. We deserve our fate at this point, no matter how good we think our team could be - the results just weren't enough to make the CFP this season.

That will happen when you offense can't stay on the field.

Offense stayed on the field plenty vs scUM and a very pedestrian QB threw for a ridiculous amount of yardage, most of it on 3rd and longs.

I said it after the MSU game and I still believe it, the defense was not as good as people thought.

Doesn't matter anymore but I can't help but worry a little when considering we won't always see this years amount of NFL talent on every OSU defense.

Offense was the primary culprit of this years fizzle but the defense shouldn't be overlooked.

Looking forward to next year..... Do you see us having enough talent to be nearly as good as the last 2 years?

Fair enough. The whole team lacked focus and leadership all year.
