Yikes, Sparty's going to get murdered. They play right into Alabama's hands. Looks like OU vs Alabama for the title this year.
Rematch of the Sugar a few years ago.
Hopefully the same outcome.

I'd bet the house that OU beats Bama by two scores. They have the defense to shut down Henry and their offense is light years ahead of any offense Alabama faced this year, save for Ole Miss. If I'm an Alabama fan, I pray to God Clemson beats OU.Rematch of the Sugar a few years ago.

And both Ohio State/Oklahoma was/is the #4 seed...Last year, the team with the worst loss (Ohio State to 6-6 Virginia Tech) ended up winning it all.
This year, Oklahoma has the worst loss (to 5-7 Texas).
It appeared to me we did not grind but we coasted. Grinding is the New England Patriots..we were more like the Jerry Jones Cowboys entitled and thinking we were "America's team,Maybe that was part of the problem. There was something dreary and tired-sounding about "Grind" that was uninspiring. Grind is what I'd think of my job if I worked on an assembly line at General Motors, putting the same tedious widget into the same drab whatzis nine thousand times a day. No joy in it. Certainly, no creativity or individual achievement, except questionable props for grimly enduring. Perhaps the attitude it represented carried over onto the listless, un-energetic play on the field we saw much of this season.
I don't think the team had any sense of entitlement at all...they just never gelled offensively, until The Game, due to the QB situation. It appeared to me we did not grind but we coasted. The lines set the tone for the season..the OL had issues..with snaps penalties and missed assignments and the DL got manhandled by Sparty in the run game(Penalties too). We waited too long to get serious about the season ..we went downhill execution wise from the first game. The team itself said it would flip the switch when needed ..football doesn't work that way in college. If there was a 16 team or 8 team playoff we could have done that.I don't think the team had any sense of entitlement at all...they just never gelled offensively, until The Game, due to the QB situation.
How the fudge does Herbie get off saying Oregon is a great team? What a joke
So, if the OL had issues due to the QB carousel and happened to struggle against a strong defense that had 8 in the box every down, it means that did so because they felt entitled.
