I'm surprised he never got snagged by a bigger program. He had TCU at a much higher level than they had any business being for a long time.

Why didn't he finish out the season? Seems ridiculous to dump a 20-year coach in the middle of the season with no notice to fans. They could at least let him finish the regular season.

Looks like they tried to fire him mid season and told him but said he could finish out the year. And he's like fuck man all I've done for you this is how you treat me I'm out...

At which point it begs the question if you are going to fire him at the end of the season but let him finish it out why fire him now.
