The Grand Valley offensive coordinator publicly said if he could have dinner with anyone who ever existed, it would be with Adolf Hitler because he admired him. Does he get fired?

The OC admired "how he rallied a group" - you mean with hate and anti-Semitism? Also calls Hitler a "great leader"
Couple of thoughts...
1.) They suspended him to allow them to "investigate"? What is there to investigate, exactly? He clearly stated that he did not agree with Hitler's intentions or methods.
2.) He gave an idiotic answer to a completely hypothetical question. If he had doubled down on the stupidity and said that as soon as dinner was over, he'd pull out a gun and shoot Hitler, would they be giving him a parade today?
3.) Its January. What is he suspended from?
4.) The question in the interview asked which three historical figures - Hitler is the only one mentioned in the article. Who were the other two? Seems like that would be as relevant as anything else in this article.

I wonder who takes the Colorado gig.
