Coaching changes: coaches hired and fired, comings and goings

this world is too soft.
because i actually see what he’s saying.

he’s not saying in any way shape or form that he agreed with Hitler’s views or mindset.
He’s saying that dude had a way to get people to fight for him. To completely a totally buy in to his vision. That would come in handy as a coach.

I understand what you’re saying. I got that from what he said, too. But the world is soft and he knows it. He starts his statement basically saying, “this is a fucking stupid thing to say but I’m going to say it anyway.” Again, it’s the world we live in and he knows it or is an idiot. Also, the world doesn’t have to be soft for admiring the mastermind of the Holocaust to be a dick move.

it was definitely stupid to say.

But in coach’s defense, i too have always been fascinated by Hitler’s charisma and ability to sell bullshit.

I mean here is a guy that stood maybe 5’ 8”, dumpy build, dark hair and eyes who wasn’t even born in Germany.
Yet he somehow convinced a whole country that the “master race” was tall, athletically built, blonde hair, blue eyes and 100% pure germanic blood.
In other words the complete opposite of himself.

He then convinced them that the entire worlds problems were all caused by one particular group of people.

and literally ALL of this was worth fighting the whole freaking planet over.

and people actually bought this shit!

Losers will always follow a loser who can convince them that he's one of them and that everybody else isn't and is out to get them. Also, the scumbag hated on quite a few more folks than the group he's most infamous for hating on. As the dude who stood up to Loki in "The Avengers" said, "there are always men like you."

The Grand Valley offensive coordinator publicly said if he could have dinner with anyone who ever existed, it would be with Adolf Hitler because he admired him. Does he get fired?
https://www.espn.com/college-footba...ds-oc-morris-berger-wanting-meal-adolf-hitler

The OC admired "how he rallied a group" - you mean with hate and anti-Semitism? Also calls Hitler a "great leader"

Just answer Che Guevara next time. Basically the same as Hitler, but the college kids will think you are woke as hell! Hahahaha!!!

Except Hitler got people to fight and follow him so "completely" by literally murdering political opponents and others who disagreed with his vision or didn't fall in line with him. If it were acceptable for a college coach to murder disobedient student-athletes, you might have a good point. There is nothing remarkable or novel about using murder to force people to do things your way. The coach is a total moron for making the comment.
