Unless you're in the Pac 12 where that's still basically the standard. I think he'd be a pretty good fit at UCLA. His style will make them more attractive to recruits, he won't have a fanbase with outsized expectations, a very winnable conference, solid recruiting base in an attractive locale.doesn't matter where chip goes he's going be gone in 5 years or so anyways.... Everyone runs up tempo and the such now and it's not nearly as effective as it once was.
combine that with the typical [Mark May]ty defenses that'll be fielded under chip and you have a not so good cocktail of football.
Will be achieve the same success he did at Oregon? Doubtful, but I think he can make them a pretty strong program. Like I said the other day, win 9-10 games a year there, put up a.500 record against USC and he's probably golden. Go someplace in the SEC, if you're not in the NC hunt by year three, people are already calling for your head.
